Fur stole color

Kelsey, on December 16, 2018 at 11:59 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 11
Ok so this is kind of a weird question but what’s a “safe” color fur stole?

I’m not getting married until December 2020, I haven’t even looked at dresses (outside of Pinterest, that is), but I’m looking for a color stole that would go well with any color wedding dress. I’m not huge on pure white, I’ll probably go with ivory or champagne.

I ask because I’m going to Russia in a few weeks and if I find something affordable that I like, what better addition to my wedding attire than something bought in Russia, right?

So what color might look good with pretty much any shade dress?

I would go with classic ivory. It's a good neutral color and will definitely go with whatever color you choose to wear.

If you know what your wedding colors will be, you could try to find one in one of those colors. Or I would go with a grey of any shade.

I would say to pick one of your wedding colors, or go with ivory since it’s a neutral!

I'd stay away from Ivory- what if it doesn't work with your dress?

Yeah, I think it was unclear in my post; I meant I’ll probably go with ivory or champagne color dress, which is why I’m trying to figure out what color stole would go best.

I wore a blonde vintage stole because I wanted it to contrast with my dress but not be too dark. I gave my BMs rich chocolate brown wraps because it went well with the burgundy dresses. I gave my FGs ivory wraps.

I think that blonde/brown color in Earias pictures are perfect. I can't imagine that not going with a dress, but if you'd like to keep it all white, ivory would probably look fine too.

I love the color of earias stole and I think it would work best with any color dress you go with. Even an ivory stole may not totally match the wedding dress you pick. Something more earthy, and a little brown, will pretty much pull together any bridal gown look!

I had this very same dilemma. Wedding was 12-1-18. I had a hard time picking a color that worked for my dress and ran out of time. I wore my black fur wrap that I bought years ago and got my bridesmaids wraps from amazon. I think it looked great!

A friend of mine also got married in a more natural looking stole and she looked gorgeous!

Me I'm anti-fur in any fashion, so I'm opting for plaid blanket scarves for myself and my bridesmaids that match their dresses.
