Fun Engagement Party Locations in nj

Kristianne, on August 7, 2018 at 4:09 PM Posted in New Jersey Planning 0 8

Hi Everyone!

So my FH and I are planning to host an engagement party but I'm torn about where to do it and was looking for ideas. I live with my FH in Burlington County. My familiy is located in Monmouth and his is spread between Burlington and Mercer. Any cool ideas on places close to us?

I dont know how close it is to you, but Wildwood New Jersey is so fun! There is the beach, the boardwalk, and the amusement park on the boardwalk! Such a fun place to go!

What type of fun are you looking for? Like AC or Parx fun? Or a nice restaurant fun? Or barhopping fun?

Are you looking to have it at a restaurant or rent out a hall?

Look into the Lenola Fire Hall in Moorestown, I just attended a wedding there & it was a nice, inexpensive hall. May be about an hour or so from Mercer or Monmouth Counties, but closer to you. I’ve also attended work meetings at The Hamilton Manor, nice venue, but may be more expensive & closer to family but farther for you. Good Luck!

When I said fun, I don’t think I really had a vision of anything. I was just looking for something different than the usual I guess. We would have a range of ages including those under 18 so casinos and bars wouldn’t be an option

Gotcha. Try this link - there's pretty fun things listed on here that are more fun than engagement party-ish.

Sounds like you're more interested in celebrating than actually having a "normal" party, but there are so many good restaurants in Burlington, Cherry Hill, Moorestown... that you could have a cool day out then have dinner at the end. I imagine the same website would have things to do in the Hamilton area too.

Have you thought about a ballgame? Maybe going to see the Phillies, or even the Riversharks or Thunder? That's always a fun group outing, and again, dinner can be had after!

You can have a small party at the Pinball Hall of Fame in Asbury Park - they are BYOB for parties.

I second this. This fire hall is very beautiful. If you do it during the week it is very affordable.
