Fun Cake-cutting Alternative

the other thing is if you can find some other unity ceremony alternative you like, you could definitely use that as an alternative to cake cutting since it's another way to do something together. perhaps you can pour each other a drink to share or something, etc. and then use that as a toast to everyone, etc

If you're doing other desserts, you could cut whatever it is that you're offering and do that instead! I'm totally with you, cake isn't my favorite either.

Cut and serve each other any dessert. Doesn’t have to be cake.

I get what you mean about not wanting to do the traditional cutting and feeding eachother the first bite of cake/dessert. My now husband did not want to do it at all but it was important to me. In the end, he was happy he did it. The MC of our band played hyped up music and encouraged our guests to take bets if we would feed eachother nicely or smash the cake. It turned into a big thing. 20 or so guests were all gathered around and very very interested in the cake cutting. The other guests were just doing their own thing and didn’t have to stop to watch the cake cutting.


Other ideas could be munchkin donut holes and you try to throw them into each others mouth?! Haha
Or maybe you each take the end of a long churro and take bites until you kiss. Like lady and the tramp style?
