From Spring Bride to Fall Bride

We had planned to get married in March and chose lavender, deep purple, ivory, and silver as our colors. Our tentative date (if restrictions lift) would now be November. Does our color scheme still work or is it too “spring”From Spring Bride to Fall Bride 1

I think those would be fine too. Doesn’t need to go with what season it’s in

I personally feel dark colors like the purples are very late fall early winter colors for me. In November I feel you can play with the palette, burgundy and blues go beautifully along, as well as neutrals.

I agree your colors are very classic and work well. If you haven't already purchased all your vases, you might consider switching out the white milk glass for something darker like an antiqued silver color (they don't have to be expensive, daughter's florist spray painted the inside of glass vases antique gold and they looked beautiful for less than a couple dollars each...). The milk glass makes the overall look a bit more spring/summer to me, but if you've already purchased just go with it!

I think your colors are very pretty and will work for anytime of year. Colors don't need to be season specific.

I personally don't care about the color. I am having a Lilac, Lavender, Green and Gold theme for my original October wedding. I don't think guests notice or care at all. All the weddings I have been to, I didn't care about their colors.

Just avoid flowers that typically bloom in the spring (tulips, daffodils, etc.) and you can make any color scheme suit the time of year you chooseSmiley smile
