So I have a few questions!

Are you having a Friday wedding, did have a Friday wedding, or experienced being at one?

My wedding ceremony will begin at 5 pm on a Friday (since it will be daylight savings time, have to start the outside ceremony early).

Did a lot of people show?

Did they just get the day off or leave work early?

Did they arrive late to ceremony?

Also. What start time should I put on my invites? 5 pm & then just begin 10-15 minutes after? 4:30? Opinions please! Smiley smile

FH and I went to a 4:30 wedding on a Friday. I was off and he left work early, we gave ourselves ample time to get there but rush hour traffic was so bad. We ended up getting there after 4:30. We felt so rude and so frazzled from the drive, but of course because of traffic, many guests were late and they ended up starting the ceremony later than planned (or later than the invite specified) - we also kind of got stuck doing a Friday wedding. We talked a lot about ours and we will be starting it at 3. I understand people may not make it, or some may just come later on during the reception and that is fine but after our experience, we wanted to begin before rush hour as our venue is in the heart of Phoenix. If you are in a metro area, don't forget to account for traffic! Good luck!
