Well it sounds like you answered your own question if you're set on June 28th, lol.

Fridays are generally cheaper than saturday, so not sure what you're asking...

I prefer Saturday weddings -- people aren't tired from work or having to worry about taking off work to make it.

If price is a major factor (it was for us, Saturdays at our venue are much more expensive than Friday, and had a higher guest minimum), go with Friday. If there is no price difference at your venue or it's an insignificant amount, go with Saturday. Saturdays are more convenient for most people.

If you chose a Friday wedding your guests may have to request off work to be there (some may not be granted time off). And your bridal party may end up having to request two days off (rehersal dinner). But that’s totally up to you, financially I know it’s easier on some

We had our wedding on Friday. Fridays are less expensive than Saturdays so depends on your budget.

We are doing a Sunday of a long weekend, and it is much more affordable.

Pick the day more affordable for you, and makes sense for you.
I got married on a Saturday because it didn't matter at our venue what day it was held-every day is the same price.

If you’re looking for something more affordable then I would do Friday, but if price doesn’t necessarily matter then I would go for Saturday. A Saturday would make it easier, in my opinion, for the guests.

We’re doing a Friday: July 13 (I’m still waiting for people to give me sass about the date, but no one has...yet). The other posters are correct in saying that a lot of venues charge more for a Saturday wedding; we’ve had the same experience with every venue we’ve seen. For example, our venue’s minimum is $15,000 on Saturday...but only $6,000 on Friday.
Most people I know do not work 9-5, Monday through Friday. As a pharmacist, a schedule like that would be a dream come true!
I do have off every other weekend and every Friday, but my other shifts vary from 8am-5pm to 12pm-9pm to 3pm-12am and the dreaded 9am-9pm on weekends. FH doesn’t have a set store yet, so he floats around and his schedule sucks just as bad as mine does.
It’s actually more difficult for us to find coverage on a Saturday (NO ONE wants to work a 12-hr shift, especially on a weekend) than any other day of the week. My friends and family with nontraditional work schedules have the same problem. Do your wedding on the day YOU want to do it. You and FS will never be able to please everyone.
P.S. Those who really want to come will take the necessary steps to make it happen, and those who don’t want to come will make excuses. Good luck and congratulations!

Also, we are not religious so we did not have to worry about having a church ceremony and reception elsewhere. That would be difficult to achieve on a Friday evening. Friday night works for us bc our ceremony will be very short and our reception is at the same venue. Just something to consider

I choose a Saturday because our family and friends have to travel to get to us. And I choose an early time so that way I have time to cook and get reception hall ready in time for dinner, I really don’t want to be running around like a chicken with my head cut off the day of the wedding. I hope everything works out for you ❤️ And congratulations
