Fresh vs Faux flowers?

TheTindles, on January 14, 2020 at 10:00 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 17
...dang flowers are expensive! Are you using fresh or faux? What sites have you found great deals on?

I'm thinking of incorporating more floating candles, and water pearls to offset the purchase of flowers.

I’m using faux flowers since I have really bad allergies and my fiancé isn’t the biggest fan of flowers. However, they are hand painted latex flowers and they look amazing. We are going for a more romantic feeling so we are using tons of candles.

We're having all faux flowers, I couldn't justify spending upwards of $1,000 on flowers. Ours are from Ling's Moment, you can buy them from their website or on Amazon (where we got ours). We've also bought artificial baby's breath from Walmart/Hobby Lobby

We used faux. They can be re-purposed after your event.

I didn’t want to worry about one (some) breaking, dying, or not arriving on time.

We did fake bouquets. For centerpieces I skipped flowers altogether

We’re doing real flowers through Enjoy Flowers, but only doing bouquets, buttoneirs (sp?), and corsages. We have something else for centerpieces

We're renting silk floral centerpieces, large and small ones. But we're having real flowers for bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages. We saved a lot of money that way and still got to have large centerpieces that we wanted .

We're doing real bouquets and faux for decorations. I love what I've seen on Flower Moxie.

Fake flowers all the way. Flowers is just one of those things my fiance and I could care less about, honestly.

Faux flowers, didn’t have the budget for real. Ended up purchasing, dyeing and arranging 5 bouquets of Sola Wood Flowers for $200 total. They do deals all the time, but it is extra work to dye everything.

I’ve also seen other people posting Costco and wholesale flowers then arranging it themselves to save money.

You could let people take the flowers or decorations home.

Maybe do a give away to those that have been married the longest or shortest amount of time.
