Fresh or artificial

Cathy, on November 24, 2019 at 1:30 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 13
I'm trying to decide whether I want to have fresh or artificial bouquets. Last few weddings I was in were artificial. Just curious what other brides were thinking.

I’m doing artificial. They’ll never die and I can work on arrangements in advance. I have 2 years until my wedding but I recently ordered some sola wood flowers they have major sales going on right now. Luv sola has flowers 80% off but I think that ends today.

Ours will be real without a doubt. I love the look and smell of fresh flowers and wouldn’t reuse artificial bouquets again anyway. Some will be potted plants that we can enjoy all summer.

I had originally planned on using fake flowers, but after comparing the look of them to the real flowers, I immediately changed my mind. The real ones were soooo much prettier and more vibrant, and they smelled amazing! And after seeing the difference in how real vs fake flowers look in pictures, there was just no question.

I paid for real bouquets, boutonniers, and a sweetheart table centerpiece. I am doing artificial (lings moments) for centerpieces, aisle chair floral, and welcome table.

It's helped a lot with budget. I'll be spending $650 on all my floral (with expensive choices for bouquets) and I see other people paying in the thousands for the same amount.

We used all real flowers. In my opinion, artificial flowers just do not compare! And the price really wasn’t bad for real flowers. I have seen prices girls have said they paid for artificial flowers and it’s only a couple hundred less than what I paid for beautiful, real, flowers.

Artificial! I have saved so much money doing fake flowers, and my bouquet will be beautiful for forever.

I did artificial because it was just way cheaper and a lot of them look very real now
