Free/cheap East Valley Wedding venues?

Hey everyone! I've been trying to find some budget wedding venues in the area, and it's proving to be a bit of a chore! I'm hoping to find something outdoors, and have a limit of $3000, though I'd rather stay as close to $1000 as I can. I know it may be a tall order, but I am pretty flexible about...

Hey everyone! I've been trying to find some budget wedding venues in the area, and it's proving to be a bit of a chore! I'm hoping to find something outdoors, and have a limit of $3000, though I'd rather stay as close to $1000 as I can. I know it may be a tall order, but I am pretty flexible about how many extra's are included. I was originally planning on having a backyard wedding, but I kind of want the ceremony and reception to both be outside, and I don't really have access to any yards that large! =]

Does anyone have any suggestions? The wedding is planned for March '18, and we are looking for something in the Phoenix/Mesa area, but any local suggestions are appreciated.

Also what does the $3000 include? Is that just for the venue or for everything?

Check out Whispering Tree Ranch in Laveen as well - they were already booked all Saturday's in march by the time I looked (10 months out) but i remember their prices being pretty reasonable and they're all inclusive.

I'm getting married in Phoenix at an outdoor venue in March and we definitely spent more than that... It really depends on how many guests you're having. March is also prime wedding season in Phoenix because it's such a nice time of year.

Here are some places you might want to check in the East Valley:

    -- Superstition Manor

    -- Red Mountain Country Club

-- The Vistas Pavilion at Las Sendas

    -- Noah's Event Venue

    -- The Falls Event Center

    -- Shenandoah Mill

I think all of these places have lower price points.

Edit: If the rest of you PPs are going to bully OP, then you might as well bull me too because I'm doing the same thing. I've lived in AZ my entire life and my fiance and I agree with OP. Having the ceremony in a shaded area in the late afternoon/evening will be fine for 30 minutes.

I'm getting married in AZ in March as well.

Get over it. The weather will be fine.

Geez people. She didn't ask your opinion of the weather when you visited for a couple of days. We live here, we know it gets hot.

@Soon 2B Stokes, can you predict when you'll have a random hot day or pouring rain?

OliviaP - By trying to push your opinion on her via telling her that her guests will be miserable if she chooses to have this kind of wedding. That's your opinion, not a fact. And I don't recall her even asking for anyone's opinion about the weather.

Phoenix weather can be unpredictable, but typically March is a good time of year. It is a fact that it's a prime month for weddings in this area. Her guests will be fine.

OP - Unless you get married at a park, most of these venues will have an indoor ceremony option if -- God forbid -- the weather takes a turn.

I've lived here my entire life....your guests will be fine. Plus it cools down at night. That being said, my venue does have a backup plan for rain! Thats majorly important. It might sound weird, but the Phoenix Zoo has beautiful ceremony and reception areas that are pretty reasonable!Smiley smile Good luck!

I wish I had some suggestions for you but I don't. We are getting married at Whispering Tree Ranch. It's around $7000 for 125 guests on a Thursday, Friday or Sunday. The price drops with fewer guests and includes cake, food, dj, bartender, coordinator, tablecloths or runners and some table decor if you choose. Not that you're asking but I'm team outside in March! Offering shade would be nice though.

My friend in Mesa got married at the antique house. It was very nice. I don't know the exact cost but know it was reasonable.

Am I allowed to post this? http://www.azcentral.com/story/news/local/chandler/2014/09/15/wedding-venues-around-ahwatukee-chandler-gilbert-mesa/15679123/

There are a lot of good options there but I'm unsure of price.
