Free Groom's Tux?

We used one of these but we had the option of getting the groom's tux rental for free or a free suit. We gladly paid for the tux rental and my husband has a brand new suit to wear. MW puts these kinds of coupons out frequently and we had no trouble using it. They put the coupon code into the system when you pick out the tuxes so the other guys will get the discount when they go to get fitted.

We qualify for a free tux, but we didn't have a coupon. Once we got our 5 they sent me an email telling me to pick who will get the free tux.

Most places do it. I shopped at a couple local tux/suit places to get the best deal and majority offered the Groom's free with 5 Groomsmen.

This might be a UO, but I have always thought that when deals like this are offered, it is kinder and fairer to split the discount amongst the group so that everyone gets an equal discount, rather than just the groom getting a free rental. I REALLY dislike the idea of the groom getting a free ride on the backs of his friends'. Friends whom he is supposed to be honoring.

We did this. I was happy to get $40 per tux rental off. My FH gave his free groom tux rental to his best man.

We got our tuxes from Jos A Bank and got the free tux rental as well. We gave it to the only living grand father. We thought he would enjoy it. He wanted to get a tux anyway

We did this, however my FH actually got a $400 shopping spree at Mens Warehouse instead of the tux.

We went with a local tux shop that ran a similar deal, but we were able to take the cost of the free rental and deduct a portion from each gm's tux instead.

We're doing this and didn't need a coupon, they offered it to us when we went to get the tuxes picked. FH was planning to pay for his tux and also half of each of the gm tuxes so this was nice and saved us money! it's a good deal, no strings attached as long as you have that many people.

It's legit, but just so you know--it's only for the full suit rental. We decided not to have jackets since a) no one wears them after the ceremony anyway (it's hot here) and b) it cut the price of the rental down quite a bit. They told us since we didn't have the full package that we weren't eligible. We did still get a discount for the groom, and we decided to just leave it alone since it made it cheaper for all the guys in the long run.

ETA it does say that on the coupon so it wasn't hidden or anything, just wanted to mention that there are stipulations to be met

Every tux/suit rental place has this same "rent 5 get 1 free" deal.

We went through The Tux Shop here because they had the because 'coupon' at $60 off each rental as well as the "but 5 get 1 free"

We are using this and so have a number of our friends

We didnt use Mens Warehouse but the place we went to did the same thing and we didnt need a coupon.... its their standard practice.....

Most tux rental places have this. If you ask, they'll split the "free" tux rental amount equally between FH and his groomsmen. My bridesmaids didn't pay for my dress, so I didn't like the idea of his groomsmen paying for his tux

We used the coupon and we paid for the rental and he was able to get a full brand new suit and with 13 days to go, i can't wait until he picks it up. All 5 of the groomsmen, the best man and the ring bearer all received $40 off of their rental. Congratulations

Where is it where your FH gets a brand new suit? I want that deal!!!

We qualify for a free tux as well, but my FH gave it to one of the GM who has had some financial difficulty.
