Once downloaded it depends on the settings of your computer. With my computer, any downloaded items appear in a tab at the bottom of my screen. These files will only open if I click on them.
My suggestion (I just tried this and it worked for me). Try opening the "Downloads" folder on your computer and look for a file named "Change the Date." If your files are organized by date, it should appear as the first one as long as you recently downloaded it. You can also access your downloaded files on your internet browser using Ctrl + J (for PC). If you have a Mac, try accessing the same place you would find your internet history.... typically it's just a few items down.
