Will your dress cover your shoes? If so, just wear whatever you feel comfortable in! I love the sparkly Kate Spade Keds! Flats can look just as special as heels, and you'll have a much better time feeling comfortable all night. Heels are definitely not a requirement for weddings. If you really, really, want to wear heels, I'd go for something with a low, chunky heel.

I'm wearing rose gold glitter toms! I've never worn heels in my life because I'm pretty tall. I agree that comfort should be a priority. My friend did the glitter keds as stated in PP.

My dress is floor length but I know I'll want some shots of my shoes.

I typically wear a size 9W. Maybe ivory color like my dress and I'm open to any style with a wide heel for support. I'm not sold on flats but I could be open to it. I would prefer to not go over $150 for shoes.

Please note that I am short (5'1) so I'll need to know which type of shoes I'm wearing by the time I have my fitting. My FH is tall (6'2).

View Quoted Comment I have the same issue and actually wear the same size shoe. I have found that sometimes going up a half size can help if you can’t find a shoe in wide. I am wearing an open toe 2 inch block heel that is amazingly comfortable (and doesn’t pinch like most shoes do).

I have the same problem except my feet are bigger, 10W but most women's wides aren't wide enough. I've resorted to buying men''s sneakers. I have had luck finding cute shoes that fit at plus size stores in the past. Planning on starting to look once they get spring/summer shoes in. My FH is the same height as me, so I am looking for flats. I plan on checking Avenue, Lane Bryant, and Torrid. I've had luck at Maryland Square for the extra width but they didn't have any white last time I checked.

I'm wearing flats, simply because I don't want to be a barefoot bride come dancing time. Heels are by no means a requirement.

Try Oka B. They have cute wide wedges. I have wide feet too.

I found these at DSW for just $25! I broke my ankle and I just can't wear a high heel for my wedding. These are nice and low, comfy and going to be my something blue! Good luck!
