Four months out...

Cheree , on May 25, 2018 at 1:05 AM Posted in Planning 0 7
We have four more months left until the wedding and I’m low key freaking out. Where abouts should we be at in planning. We have the venue, food, officiant make up/ hair, some decorations, cake. We are not doing a dj. What else am I missing save the dates went out months ago. Invitations are ordered. I feel like i should be done with everything but I also feel like there’s a ton more stuff 😬 help

Are you using a timeline or checklist? WW has a pretty detailed checklist.

I have my dress and the girls dress. We are going to get the men’s wear soon. We have a photographer, we have someone in mind for flowers just have to sign and put deposit. I am using the checklist but I feel like I’m not where I’m suppose to be and behind on things

I totally understand and am in the same boat. Also getting married in 4 months. Sometimes the checklist stressed me out - because I was behind on everything! I talked to friends who recently got married and who are getting married and they said get your vendors... so you already have makeup, dress, some decor, food, invites, cake. Are you going to have music at all? Did you register for items or will you make a honeymoon fund? Like someone else said chairs and tables, tablecloths. Flatware -or is your venue providing that? Transportation and hotels before or after the big day

I was/am in the same stressed boat as you. I am freaking out about having everything ready to go as early as possible. You should also start looking at some of the smaller details. Card box, cake topper, guest book, table numbers, and don't forget your FH ring.

I actually had to make a list of everything- and i mean everything. From the driveway at the vendor to the very last table. That way I would kno exactly what I was dealing with. I also mocked up some of my tables so that I would know how I wanted them set up for the day-cake table and gift table. I'm DYI-ing almost everything and I didnt want to forget anything. I'm starting now to pack them in boxes with labels so that I know where to put them in the venue-doing both the ceremony and the reception in the same place. Lists are my sanity. I have one for almost every part. Good luck!
