looking for recommendations on foundation that lasts all day. my skin is not too dry and not too oily. i have some small slightly darker spots from old blemishes so need something with good coverage. my wedding is also in august so will likely be very hot

Agree with the tarte suggestions. I love the brand and their products. Their mascara is also amazing. Second place would be make up forever for me...

Love Estee Lauder Double Wear! I have acne scarring and just general ruddiness but this covers like a dream and lasts without breaking up as long as you prep well before application. It covers well but is super comfortable wear. I apply it with a foundation brush.
