Found my dress!

After visiting four salons in one weekend (my family lives in PA and I'm in NY so I tried to squeeze it all in at once!) about a month ago I was feeling kinda disheartened. The romantic flowy style I thought I wanted just wasn't doing it for me like I expected. I ended up really liking a more classic satin ballgown the best which had me all sorts of confused! I didn't think it fit my venue which is more rustic but I was about to give in and pull the trigger on it since everyone always says you end up with the opposite of what you expect.

On a whim yesterday I visited Kleinfeld Sample Studio on my lunch break (it's literally 5 blocks from my work). And at the very end of the rack I found my girl! It's everything I originally envisioned and I love it! My wedding is in exactly 9 months and I was feeling pressured to make a decision but I'm glad I held out a bit longer. I don't get emotional and I'm indecisive about everything and not having my mom and sister there made me hesitant if I was making the right choice but after sending them pictures they reaffirmed my gut feeling. I went back after work to take her home! Another girl was waiting for me to leave so she could try it on after she saw me in it but the consultant did me a solid and talked her out of it since she knew I was likely coming back (they can't hold anything). 😂🙏

Also bonus, it was 75% off! The sale price was additionally marked down for a Columbus day sale ending this week which I had no idea about haha. All the stars aligned on this one

I really wanted a long veil but my mom is worried about it detracting from the detailed back. If I got a simple one with no embellishments do you think it would work?
