Found My Dress!!

I wasn't expecting to find "the one" yesterday at all, but I eventually found myself comparing all of the others to this one and I love it! I never expected I'd want a dress that's completely covered in sparkles, and I know my fiancé is going to be super surprised because he won't expect it either!

I know I don't look thrilled in the photos, but I was sooo over my mom and grandma's attitudes by the time we were done 😅 I am considering having my seamstress make the back a corset, since that was my fiancé's only "request", but since the train has buttons all the way down I don't know if it would look weird.

    Congrats on finding your dress!! I love how the skirt sparkles. That's nice you're wanting to incorporate your fiancé mentioned they liked that, so it wouldn't hurt to see what your seamstress thought!

    I get it! My reception dress isn't anything I would've picked, but it's so fun to discover what you feel beautiful in! They really are pretty, and will look beautiful when they catch light!

    Absolutely beautiful! All that matters is that you are happy and comfortable in it!

    I'm the opposite, I've always known I would wear a big pouffy sparkly dress. So I have my fiance convinced my dress is pink (he would prefer it to be traditional white/ivory but supports whatever I would want), that way he is surprised when I walk down the aisle. Because I know he would expect me to go full disney princess in general! Lol

    The shop said they've seen people put a corset in this dress before, I just love the buttons so I'm torn! My seamstress is my SIL's MIL so I know her quite well and she's one of the best in town. I'm sure we'll figure something out!

    Thank you! Yes, the stylist at the boutique grabbed her phone flashlight and was moving it around the skirt to show us the way the light will make it sparkle 😍

    Thank you everyone!! My mom and grandma weren't as supportive as I was hoping and I was pretty bummed after my appointment even with finding the dress. After having time to look at it more and with having more people get excited with me I'm REALLY looking forward to wearing this dress!!
