Found a candy calculator for 2x2 favor boxes

I was going crazy trying to figure out just how many darn M&Ms to get to fill our favor boxes! I knew how many I wanted per box but trying to calculate that out to the number of ounces and pounds to order was making me nuts. I found this website today that has a calculator for how much you will need of different types of candy (M&Ms, jordan almonds, jelly beans, kisses, champagne candies, melty mints, pillow mints) to fill a 2x2 square favor box.     That is awesomerific weliz! I'm filling my boxes with Hershey's Kisses and (although I hadn't tested this yet) I assumed that 6 would do it! The calculator says 11! LOL I was way off!

    Thanks Konichiwa, it is just a guideline though, if you are using filler like tissue paper or something you can use less. I got a box as a sample from Boucoup and I'm glad I did. I was amazed how many M&Ms fit in the box! BTW I found that about 28 inches of 5/8 in ribbon did the trick for wrapping around all sides with a bow on top.

    I already ordered my boxes (check efavormart, they seemed to have the best prices-but I don't specifically remember checking beaucoup) and have them waiting for it to be closer to the wedding before I put them together. But I did put one together to check out what they looked like! Thanks for the info on the ribbon!
