Formal Return Label etiquette

Libby, on September 14, 2020 at 10:09 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 1 4
My fiancé and I are deciding to do Save The Dates for our Friday wedding next year October 8th 2021.

My question is...( and I'm probably over thinking it) I'm looking to buy some return address labels, and wondering what the formal etiquette on our names should be. Seeing as our Invitation will have our full names, He's Benjamin - goes by Ben. I'm Elizabeth- I go by Libby. Should I just keep it consistent with the invitations that will follow and not confuse people and have..

Benjamin & Elizabeth### street name AveCity ST, zip code
Thanks!

I don't think it really matters, but it would make sense to stick with the same names for both items.

I agree with Caytlyn. Use whatever names you want, but keep them the same on the save the dates and the invites. My husband goes by a shorter name and that's what we put on everything, because that's what everyone calls him.

Save the dates are informal so go with what you normally go by.
The actual invites (sent out at 8 weeks) , being as formal as they are, dont use names as part of the return address.

We kept it really simple, our return address labels were just our first names
