Forgot to put rsvp by date on invites!

Tiffany, on February 14, 2019 at 11:57 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 8
We did a semi diy invite, had 5x7 done by vistaprint, and ordered pockets from somewhere else. We did matching postcards from VP with “Details” on them. We are doing RSVP and our info on our Zola Site. BUT we forgot to put rsvp by date!
i was thinking we could just hand write on the post cards, as it’s not in the budget to order more. And since it’s just a card with info for our website it’s not a formal invitation suite.
any other ideas how to do this cheap/free? I’ve missed more work than I have been to in the last 3 weeks due to illness and the budget is taking a massive hit.
thanks in advance!

First of all I contact the company of his places like that are usually pretty flexible from my understanding from this forum

Second I would just buy business cards at Staples and print it on a regular printer and have it as an insert before I would pay for it to be redone

I'm not sure this a huge problem....if your invitations direct people to your website, just make sure your website has has the "rsvp by" date in a prominent place. Most people will go to your website shortly after receiving the invitation just to check it out anyway. Also, I think most people know to rsvp within a reasonable amount of time before the wedding date, so even if you get a few more than normal who don't (there will always be some), now you have a built in excuse to contact them without feeling like you're bugging them ...."oh, gee, sorry we forgot to include the response date...."
I wouldn't stress too much about this.

If its too late for them to fix it you can try fixing them by adding Please RSVP by_____ on clear labels.

Try Avery 15667 if you have a laser printer.

Anybody in your family or FH's family have stellar handwriting/calligraphy? I would just write "please rsvp by ___" on the wedding details card! Is there good header/footer spacing on the cards to do so? Also have the rsvp date prominent on your website as well!

You could order business cards sized 1 sided cards that say "please RSVP by X" on Vista Print or Zazzle?

Thank you all for your input! It will definitely be prominent on the website. We do NOT have stellar handwriting 😂 but we may just write in on details card anyways.
