Forgot stamps on Rsvp's!

M.M., on November 6, 2018 at 7:37 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 13
A thought just went into my head, "oh my God I forgot stamps on the RSVP's!!! People are going to laugh at me. We may not get them to send the RSVP back! What do I do???? I'm just an idiot. I told my FH he's shocked I forgot to use the stamps.

It happens more often than you think. There is nothing you can do about it now if your invites are in the mail, so take a deep breath and don’t worry about it. As a guest if I got one without a stamp, I would just put one on and not think much of it. Don’t beat yourself up over this.

Thank you so much. My FH said he'll give the change if they complain about having to buy a stamp.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Adding a stamp is a nice touch but it's really not a necessity. If your guests don't want to get a 50 cent stamp (or however much it is), then maybe they'll send you a picture of the RSVP. I wouldn't stress over it or think that anyone will laugh at you.

I wouldn’t worry either! We all have brain farts. I accidentally put forever stamps on the RSVPS that were going to Europe and South America lol. Completely useless!!

I wouldn't worry either, I put stamps on all of our RSVPs and still had to track down about 30% of our guests because they didn't send an RSVP haha.

We did the same thing. I'm sure we would have gotten quicker responses if we did stamp them, but be prepared to get snide comments! lol My one aunt just assumed we were being cheap and made a comment to my mom about it...

Hi M.M.! I'm sure your guests will just assume you forgot and put the stamp on themselves. It's nothing to beat yourself up about! It was a simple mistake, and your guests will certainly look past it, or may not even notice a difference! Smiley smile The important part is you got out your invitations, which is so exciting! What's next on your wedding to-do list?

I won't be doing stamps. I will include only the insert itself along with a note that says they can send it back or they can RSVP online.

We are waiting on my dress and his suit jacket from store. Then wait for RSVP to come in. I'm debating on calling those who don't respond by Nov26th. I think if they don't RSVP it means they are not coming. Today already my FH got a no through telephone. I guess they won't be RSVPn. What do you think?

At this point I'd just wait until your RSVP date and start calling once it's past. You probably will still get quite a few RSVPs!
