Forgot location on save the dates

Alycia, on December 26, 2020 at 12:22 PM Posted in Planning 0 5
I just got my save the dates in the mail and I realized I completely forgot to include the location. I was using a template and this one just happened to not have a location spot so I didn’t even think of it. It’s in Colorado (we live here now) but I’m from PA and my fiancé is from WI so I’m afraid people won’t know what state the wedding will be in. The STD are magnets too so I can’t add a sticker to the back or anything. Any ideas?

I would suggest just sending them anyways, as people Just need to know the date. And if they are curious they’ll reach out and ask. That way you can save money and not have to reorder them. Or maybe try just writing on them with a sharpie? Or adding a note to them when you mail them on a separate piece of paper

You could add a handwritten note with each one to say hi, tell them about the save the date, and mention the location for your wedding! That way, you don't need to spend any money to redo the save the dates, and it gives your guests a personal note to have with the magnets.

Do you have your website on the magnet? If so, just make sure you add and and highlight the location info to the website. If not, I like Dallas’ idea of adding a small card when sending the save the dates that have the location info on them.

Find a spot on the front to hand write the location. A separate note is likely to get forgotten or misplaced and sending without a location is super frustrating as a guest. Think about their interests over your preference for appearance of the magnet - plus you can probably find a way to make it look cute.

Add a handwritten note when you send them out regarding the location
