Forest Preserve ceremony??

Katie, on December 5, 2019 at 2:56 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 1

Hey ladies!
Has anyone done a ceremony in a forest preserve or something similar? My fiancé and I are highly conside this beautiful part of the preserve to have the ceremony, we are just a little nervous on the practical aspects of it because we don't know anyone who has done it.
Any advice would be helpful! We just want things to be simple but beautiful, we're only having about 30 people as it is but again, just trying to figure out all aspects before we go all in.
Thanks all!!

We’re having our ceremony in Rocky Mountain National Park. They have very strict rules. We can’t have any decorations (save for an arch IF we get married in one specific location), we can only bring chairs for any sick, elderly, or pregnant guests everyone else has to stand, there is nowhere to get ready so you have to arrive ready to go. But it’s affordable ($250 permit fee), and it’s beautiful. The beauty of nature far outweighs any decorations I could set up.
