Forest Ceremony Locations in se Michigan?

I had seen somewhere that you can get married at stony creek metropark? The picture showed a really beautiful photo of someones ceremony in a wooded area. I didn't look into it at all, but thought it was a nice idea!

Look into the Cohn amphitheater in independence oaks park in clarkston! We are having our ceremony there and it’s a stage right in the middle of the woods, I think we paid less than 500 to rent it out and we also didn’t have to pay for chair rentals because there are pre put in benches!

You can filter the list even more by the date you want, max capacity of the venue you need, and the amenities you want.

I have stumbled across Stony Creek, it’s currently our top contender. I hadn’t seen Cohn yet though!

I’m hoping for an outdoor space. I love the ambiance of the woods. I’m not opposed to a covered space (like the amphitheater suggested above, and definitely has the benefit of electricity), but in a perfect world, I’d love to have colorful autumn leaves and/or pine trees be our backdrop.

I was looking into Stony Creek for a ceremony and reception and from what I could tell, if you have the reception there, it's required to use their preferred catering service which has a food and beverage minimum. Just FYI!!! The ceremony site is absolutely stunning!
