Just Said Yes April 2020

Forced to postpone 4/25/2020

Well. Fiancé discussed the what if’s, I just didn’t think it was real. We said we would postpone if basically our venue made us. Today, we received the call from the venue postponing all weddings till 4/30 ( for now ) there’s no saturdays available for the remaining of 2020, so we made a decision to push till next April 2021. Unfortunately, we don’t want to risk planning this year with all the rapid changes. I don’t think I could take anymore emotional distress. Two years of planning, out the window. We are happy to at least know we are fully paid off, venue is giving us 20% off (it’s not about money but it helps), and as of now all our vendors have been flexible. I’m typing this with my eyes still wet from all the emotions, but this will only make us stronger. Goodluck to all the brides out there, just know we all going through it.

So sorry for you. We are 4.24.2020 and I almost wish someone would make the decision for us (venue cancelling, etc). It’s so hard to know what the “right thing” to do is when you’ve spent so much time and energy working on something. At this point I just want to make it happen and call it a day. We are still waiting and seeing how things go and attempting to make a decision in a few weeks.

We just postponed our April 24th wedding. As of now, church will only allow 10 people in for a wedding. Who knows how long these restrictions will be in place. This is awful. Looking at an August date now.

Hi. I had to reschedule mine which was supposed to be April 18th, 2020. New date is April 24th, 2021. We are pushing it back a year. I say better safe than sorry. There are a crazy number of new cases where I live in NJ every day and our venue and all our vendors are not working right now. Everyone was very understanding and helpful. We have no idea when things are going to get better and I have a son with respiratory issues so I am just moving on and looking forward to the new day. It does gives me some more time to get my arms in shape lol Smiley smile
I wish you the best and just know there are a lot of us brides out there in similar boats.
