Sorry for the questions!! I’m going on a trip in a few weeks and as much as I love my ring, if I brought it, I would be worrying about it 24/7. I didn’t want to just wear nothing on my finger, so I wanted to get a fake temporary ring...also didn’t want to spend a lot on it. Any recommendations?

I so did not know this was a thing! But I’m so glad you posted this! It makes so much sense! And now I am currently looking into fake rings! 😂❤️

Pinky is my actual ring (needs resized) ring finger is walmart closest thing i could find to mine fh says its gaudy but whatevs mostly so when i get it resized i have somthing to wear other fingers were rings my fmil ordered for me thinking id prefer them

Giiiiiirl!!! I have a friend who can spend 5 figures in a piece of jewelry in a heartbeat. She’s the one who told me to buy fake ones for vacation. Probably because I’m super clumsy and forgetful. So glad I did!

I've been looking into this all the time. I think I'm just going to order a cheap wedding band from JCP to wear on these occasions, I actually found one that is diamonds and on sale for $55.00 so I might order that but then I wonder if I'll want a full set in which case im going to head to etsy or somewhere where I know it won't turn my fingers green.

Where are you going on your trip? We are heading to Europe next month, so I was looking into fake rings as well. However from a few people's advice, I decided to just get a plain band to wear. It's not just the chance you may lose your e ring, you don't want to flaunt jewelry to make you a target. If you are going abroad, I recommend leaving even fake bling at home. I know too many people who have been mugged! Hope you have a great trip!

I didn't even think of that. I'm going to Israel for a couple weeks with my fiance starting on April 20th! I was there back in 2015 and my phone was stolen, so theft is definitely high there. I'll need to just be careful where I wear it. I hope you have a great trip in europe!!

So true!!!! For far away places I never bring jewelry. Just plain earrings and that’s it. Better safe than sorry.
