I saw an add for Dazi ties and my FH and I really like the idea of a contemporary floral necktie/bowtie for the men in our wedding party. Dazi makes some great patterns that are classy and don't look dated. However, he's a bit concerned that a cotton tie will look cheap and a "skinny tie" will be disproportionate on him (he's a bigger guy and broad chested). Dazi also makes a limited range of pocket squares and patterns, so we aren't sure we will be able to find the right colors for our wedding.
Our wedding is in late May. The men are wearing navy suits and I really like the muted neutral-cool toned colored palettes that pair nicely with navy, so we were thinking navy with sage green (more of a light olive with neutral undertones than a misty seafoam) and dusty rose (a nice dark blush or pink mauve without orange or coral undertones). I love the look of mismatched bridesmaids and don't care for perfectly matchy-matchy weddings, so was thinking the groom could wear a floral necktie with both the sage and rose colors and than my MOH could wear dusty rose and the groomsmen could wear a sage ties, to have a coordinated, tied together look. I am only having a MOH and no other bridesmaids, and both she and I are very fair skinned, so I am considering that when choosing color palettes, especially her dress.
So my question is: Has anyone purchased Dazi ties and can comment on the quality of them? And are there any other tie brands we should be looking at that have contemporary floral patterns (not ones that look like grandma's curtains or part of a 70s disco)?
