My wedding day was 90 degrees and 90% humidity. I literally took a pair of cuticle scissors and cut my underwear off because they were so sweaty.

I had a garter and fun stuff for the honeymoon but my wedding day was one of the sweatiest days of my life.

I never even really thought about that! My wedding is in 2 yrs and now I'll definitely be thinking about trying to do something special. Whatever I do though I'll definitely let my FH (hubby by then) know. It'll drive him crazy haha

I couldn’t wear much because of my dress. I wore my garter only for the toss which I put right in the spot. My dress was tight and see thru at places that everything would be noticeable even the garter or regular underwear. I did wear something more special later on just for his eyes.

The weather should only be 70 degrees at my wedding so I’m going to attempt a frilly look. FH likes the look of garterbelts so I might get one. I don’t have an actual garter since he doesn’t care about that tradition and neither do I. I’ll just put on the rest later since I can’t wear a bra with my dress.
It’s funny, I don’t care at all about him seeing my dress all the time but I went completely territorial when he almost saw my wedding night negligee I had stored. Don’t you DARE look! Since he doesn’t even know what WW is I’ll just say it’s a gorgeous pale pink silk covered in beaded lace. It looks so pretty! I can’t wait to wear it.

There will be exactly 0 sexiness going on under my dress. The most comfortable pair of underwear I own and shape wear. Lingerie is great for the night of (if you even have the energy) or the honeymoon, but there’s no sense in being uncomfortable in sweaty ruffly underwear for 8 hours.

Lol Yam I can agree with you. But FH hasn't seen either - the dress or the negligee. I may even need to get something new for the wedding night because like my dress I got the sexy stuff 2 years ago. I'm sure he won't mind it being a little snug but . . . we'll see. Maybe I just want to get something new

He laughed so hard. He knows what he married and wasn’t surprised in the least (but a little irked that we spent $40 on underwear the last roughly 3 hours)

Only 48 percent of couples have sex on their wedding nights. And among those that do, many of the brides change out of their wedding dresses before bedtime, anyway. (For example, you might not want to wear your wedding dress for the ride home/back to your hotel/etc.) Plus, wedding dresses tend to be warm, and if you do a lot of dancing, you may well end up sweaty. So I wouldn't bother with sexy lingerie under the wedding dress. Go home, take a shower, then change into that nice lingerie.
