Hi Patti!! I've never hired a food truck, but I think if you called them, you might get a better idea. Or maybe look at their website, they might have a page on how to book them. I found one food truck in the San Francisco area (I'm assuming that's the Bay Area you're talking about) in the WeddingWire vendor directory and linked it below.

However, if you aren't looking for Mexican, I think your best bet would be to look through Yelp or even TripAdvisor. They'll have some good recommendations and the address and hours of the food trucks. Even if there isn't a website or phone number online, you'll know where the truck will be and you can stop by and ask in person.
