Food truck tablescape?! Help

Tahlee, on October 13, 2019 at 4:04 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 3
Hi all. We are having a sit down wedding, with food truck as the catering (guests will go and get their own food much like a buffet). But this leaves me wondering what to put on our tables, given that we don’t need cutlery. So far I only really have the menu, napkin, wedding favour and placecard.

We are having drinks served from a caravan bar (guests to go and order as they like, and there is a water station set up in front of the caravan). Is it still worth having a water glass and wine glass for each setting? I kind of don’t see the point but thought at least it could be something else for our setting!

Any tips would be great.

Are you more concerned about function or aesthetics? Function wise, I think what you have is fine. I would skip the wine glass, but even with a water station, pre-set water glasses would be nice and more convenient for your guests. If you're just looking for something to make the table look nice, you could do chargers or doilies. Are the food trucks providing cutlery? If you want, you could ask them to skip it so that you can leave it at the place settings.

I think you can skip the wine glasses. We are using something like this for our cutlery, napkins, hand wipes.

Could you get the cutlery from the vendor in advance and have it at the place settings?

    Hey Tahlee!

I love the sound of all of your food trucks! What food will they be serving?

As the pps mentioned, you can definitely skip the wine glasses, but I think having water glasses at each place setting would be a nice touch. Also, charger places are a great idea as they will help define each place setting for your guests.

    Are you having centerpieces?
