Food Tasting!

We brought our wedding planner but if we didn’t have a planner we would’ve gone by ourselves. I think with wedding planning the less outside opinions the better. But it’s up to you and what you feel comfortable with!

Our tasting is tomorrow. My Matron of Honor and my Maid of Honor - who is my daughter, are also going.

I brought my day-of coordinator, but she's also a longtime friend of mine. She was able to help/remind us what to ask the restaurant events person, so that was super helpful!

We are going alone. No parents or best man/MOHs live in town, plus we’d rather it just be us. Too many opinions if we bring anyone. I’ve already gotten too many “my vote is...” when we aren’t even voting, lol.

We were offered a tasting last month even though we aren’t getting married until next year and we went alone. My venue does tastings very frequently so we plan on going to at least one more and we will probably invite our families for that tasting. It’s really fun when it’s just the two of you though.

View Quoted Comment Me too. Wedding in July. My venue has pastry chefs that make custom wedding cakes- included in the cost. So it will be everything. I've been sticking to watching my diet, BUT tomorrow looking forward to tasting cake. Lol! 😊

We are going to ours in May and it will be just the two of us.

We are bringing our moms. I love my mom and would 100% want her to be there. And our wedding planner is joining in the end of it. I know no matter what we will choose what we want, haha that's what I am telling myself. Our tasting allowed 4 people. I could tell my future mother in law wanted a part of our wedding planning and I didn't want her in a lot of the decisions because I wanted to make them, but figured I could include her in this way. I hope it will be fun. Just a few weeks away!

We’re paying for everything ourselves but we still brought my mom and my sil (my maid of honor). I’m very very close to both of them and wanted to include them as much as possible. So they came to our food tasting and a separate cake tasting. We did our rehearsal dinner tasting by ourselves.

We brought my fiance's mom and it was so fun! If you have a good relationship it's fun to have someone else there if the caterer allows
