Okay so FS and I have basically decided to move the wedding to the morning and save money on catering by having a cocktail brunch instead of a dinner. I looked at this one cater and the savings were over half! But that's not the issue lol.

The one menu I have looks to be like all breakfast items. 1 stationary appetizer, 3 butlered, 2 stations and then bacon, links and french toast. The stations are omelet and belgium waffle.

If we have the wedding from say 11-11:30am, reception from 12-3 (or 4), should be have more lunch-ish type food? Or should we just do a lunch buffet? Or should we move the wedding up? Lol. This whole idea is really new to me so I don't know what to do. This is literally my first day researching a morning wedding! HELP!

@bluedaisy, sorry I didn't explain it right. The timeline would be something like

    11:00-11:30- Ceremony

    11:30-12:30- (Us) Photos

11:30-12:00- (Guests) Travel to reception venue

    12:00-12:30- Cocktails

    12:30-4:00- Reception
