How many plates should you pay for if some of your guests bring other people other than the 100 you already paid for in other words do you buy extra just in case?

If someone comes who did not RSVP, they are on their own. I would not purchase extra plates.

Totally agree! That’s what the RSVP card is for.

I agree with the previous comment, Do not buy extra plates for guest you didn't give a plus one to or anyone who didn't rsvp. Pay for who said they would go to the wedding. If anyone shows up they better have already ate or brought their own chair to sit on because everyone else is accounted for. My dad wanted two empty seats for my great grandparents for my wedding wehther they come or not. I didn't like the idea and gave those two seats to a friend with a plus one because I wanted them their. My grandma confirmed three times my great grand parents would not show to the wedding and I went ahead with giving the seats up.

If they don't RSVP then they can bring a chair and a sandwich.

Definitely don’t buy more. People should not be so rude as to bring extra people and if they do, then they won’t eat I guess.

I wouldn't buy extra in case. Weddings are based on RSVP. So whoever comes with an unexpected guest, is rude and doesn't need to be accommodated. But then again this is up to you because I've been to weddings where they accommodated uninvited people anyway
