Fold and Send Invites

Bree, on May 22, 2019 at 8:24 PM Posted in Planning 0 17
I wanted to get thoughts on fold and send invites. They looks super convenient but am not sure about the invite getting all dirty. Just wanted input on those who have had them?

A friend of mine used them. Personally, I was not a fan. It arrived dirty and there were spelling errors. The paper was thin and the invite ripped as I was trying to open it.

We had all in one invites from Ann's bridal bargains. We loved them and received a lot of compliments. We had our picture on ours and they turned out beautiful. The paper quality was great- we ordered elite texture 110lb. They lasted through the cricut writing addresses on them and through the mail. The RSVPs came back just fine as well. 😊 Great price and great quality!

I didnt use them but I was debating on it. I was nervous about them ripping apart in the mail and parts getting lost so I ultimately decided against them

So my suggestion is put them in an envelope.
I know it sounds dumb. But I usually get an envelope inside and envelope and dont see a big difference between this and that.
I've considered these and I decided if that's what I go with, that's my plan.

I bought mine from Ann's bridal Bargain. I have only sent one out so far to my parents but the rest won't go out until beginning of June. I loved the convenience and price. Nobody cares or keeps the invite after the wedding so I didnt want to waste my time or money. My parents arrived in perfect condition. I also received two similar invites in past two years with no issues either. Good luck deciding

I used them for our wedding. We ordered them from papyrus. Got a great deal because they had a 25% off customs. They are beautiful. Thick paper and raised lettering. Hope this helps!

Minted is one of the more expensive sites. Try Ann Bargain bridal or visaprint.

Mine are all in ones from minted and they are great! I have not sent them out yet but they are durable. My friend also used them for her wedding and they were really nice.

I think they were, actually. And they were white which didn’t help with them getting dirty in the mail. Maybe a darker color would be better? I’d follow up on the other PPs recommendations for Ann’s Bridal Bargain.

I used the all-in-ones from Minted and I loved them! I had ZERO issues. The paper was thick and great quality. They were cheaper than the regular invites so I was able to get them with the gold foil and they looked great. I go ALOT of compliments on them too! Mine were white and they didn't get dirty in the mail. The outside had the ink stamping on it but the inside (the important part) was immaculate (from what I was told by people who received them).

ETA: You seal them with three circular stickers that are clear and perforated. If you place them on correctly then the invites should open without tearing. Also, as far as spelling errors - I doubt that is the invite's fault but rather probably a proofreading issue!

@Chelsea... hmmm... our three fold invites from Minted came in an envelop to keep them from getting dirty. So gross to think about all the places snail mail goes to get dirty! 😝

I did all-in-ones and the were fantastic. The inside is the important part and that is protected by the folding. They get thrown away anyway so i dont' think it's a big deal if the outside is a little mussed up from the mail. Also loved them bc a huge pet peeve of mine is invitations with a million different parts and cards (RSVP, details, hotel, registry, reception info). It's just a little too much in my opinion.
