Foils and color

This is silly but I can’t decide whether to color my hair again before my wedding. it seems with wedding stuff I obsess over every detail. My stylist has never done me wrong. She thinks I should do a partial foil a few weeks before. I had blonde foils for 8 years that I loved then with covid it grew out and I’m brunette again. I’ve gotten used to brunette and it looks good against my ivory and beige dress. Will some blonde look bad against the ivory top of my dress? That seems silly to worry about but I cannot imagine it. I need texture and contrast and if I don’t foil my hair, it will be flat and I know I won’t be happy with it. The other issue is if I do just a partial won’t it have a big demarcation line of brunette versus blonde when I pull it up onto an updo? I can’t recall what it looked like when I used to pull it up probably because I didn’t care as much but I want it to look cohesive and not trashy. Did anyone do a partial and then an updo and like it or have photos? I which I could recall how it looked up in bun when I had a partial. Thanks for any advice. I appreciate it .

I think looking good in ivory has much more to do with your skin tone than hair color. For example, I don’t look good in bright white no matter what my hair color is. I think some highlights will look lovely. Whatever it is that you decide, do what you like.

Thanks Kristen! Yes. I looked ghastly in the two white dresses I tried and I always wanted ivory anyways. I was much nicer looking in it.
