Foil Invitations- Etsy Template

V, on May 12, 2020 at 4:57 PM Posted in Planning 0 3

I am loving some of the custom invitations on Etsy, but most of them are templates that you would have to customize and send to a printing company.

I am not completely against this, but I am nervous. I would want to add foil or some kind of texture to them as well, but I do not know how to go about doing this with a printing company. Does anyone have any experience using an outside printing company to print with foil or some other kind of texture? Is it worth the hassle, or should I just go with a pre-made design on Minted or Magnetstreet?

Go to a local Staples or Office Max and ask if they can print foil for you.

I’m on the same boat as you! Etsy has such beautiful template options, but I too don’t feel comfortable mass printing them through another party. Not going through the trouble, I’m spending a few extra bucks (not a “few”, but you know what I mean) and buying foil invitations on minted. However, we did use etsy for our wooden magnet STDs that ended up being only $100 for 40, so we thought that was a great compromise!

A lot of printing companies won't print foil off or isn't a design of theirs with foil already. We used basic invite and they have beautiful work! You can save 20% with this code if you like their work: Z485HB
