fmil Gift Timing

Rachael, on June 30, 2019 at 12:29 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 6

How far ahead of the wedding would you say is typical to gift your FMIL if you are giving her something? I only have something small for FMIL, FH & myself aren't terribly close to her but I wanted to still make that gesture to her, since its not a bad relationship either. I can't seem to find anything on approximately when you would normally give the gift, everything I use to search just pulls up stuff on finding the right gift, as opposed to when to give it

I'm going to give her something the morning of the wedding.. Not sure what is typical though. Same thing here.. Not a great relationship, though not a bad one.

I would do it at the rehearsal or the morning of the wedding, whenever you're giving the rest of your gifts.

I would say either at the rehearsal dinner or the morning of the wedding!
