Flutist and cellist?

So I first hired a violinist and cellist duet to play during our ceremony and cocktail hour and I was sooo excited about this. And now today, the lead musician called me to discuss the songs and timeline, and he said that the violinists that they have are not able to perform and it wasn't "under his control." So idk why they can't play. Then he mentioned that he could try and find another violinist, but they also have an amazing flutist instead. I said okay on the flutist, but after I hung up the phone I felt very disappointed I didn't get what I initially hired them for. 😔



I'm thinking about calling them again tomorrow to see if there's any way to get a violinist. Do you think this would be a good idea? Or would a flutist and cellist sound good and should I just not worry about it?
