Flowers 💐

Amy, on April 18, 2020 at 2:55 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 10
What was an average price for flowers for the Bridesmaids, Groomsmen, fathers, mothers, grandparents, and other family members that are acknowledged in the wedding?

I am looking for flowers and trying to get an idea of pricing.

That really depends on the area youre having your wedding and the size of the bouquets your requesting. I’d reach out to several vendors to get a number or quotes.

Agree with PP— that’s going to depend on your area.

My wedding was in Southern California (florist from Orange County and wedding in San Diego): My bridesmaid’s bouquets were around $80 each I believe. Corsages for moms and grandmothers were about $40 and boutonnières were around $20.

Agree with PPs that it really depends on your area, the florist you choose, and the quality of the flowers used. My bridal bouquet was $200 and the bridesmaid's bouquets were $75 each. Boutonnieres for my husband, groomsmen, and the dads were $20 each and corsages were $25 a piece. But it really depends on so many other factors!

I’m getting married in New York and i priced out several vendors. For 8 brides maid, 8 groomsmen,25 table arrangements, 2 mothers and 3 fathers we got estimates ranging from $3300-$7000! We sent the same images to each florist. Needless to say we went with the $3300 estimate! I was told that’s about average for NY and the amount of flowers we need.

We paid $100 per bridesmaid bouquet, $40 per corsage, and I believe $20 per boutonnière but it might have been $25.

For my wedding I have 7 bridesmaids 7 grooms men 2 flower girls a ring bearer mother of the bride and groom and father of the bride and groom. I have my flower coming from An Affair to Remember in STL and for just the bridal party it’s around $2,500. Keep in mind I chose high end flowers and large bouquets. All pricing depends on the flowers you want and the size of what you want.

That’s also about the amount I’m spending in NYC. Some florists we’re giving me up to 10k.

The only flowers I got from a florist was my own bouquet. It was 8 roses (half pink half white) and some baby’s breath. Paid $70 for it. I DIYd my bridesmaid bouquets with grocery store flowers.

Most people spend way more than I did though. But flowers just wasn’t a priority to me. I put my budget elsewhere.

It will change based on what kind of flowers you're looking for and the area you're in. A florist in my area (Texas) quoted me over $3k for all of the flowers I was needing. I found that I could easily do them myself for $750. This includes garlands, centerpieces, bouquets, etc.
