Flowers

Wow I got sticker shock the other day. I received the invoice for my flowers. 1 bridal 1 MOH, 3 Buttinaires 1 mini one for my 4 yr old grandson, 1 MOB and 2 lady corsages for our readers. $396 .. does that seem right? I told her small. It's my 3rd, his 2nd. Need nothing elaborate.. wow. Please tell me your experience.

That sounds about right to me. We opted for artificial flowers, but I did look at some floral options from places like Sam's Club and they were around that price.

This really depends on where you live and the flowers you’re using but yes that seems about right. We had my bouquet, 3 bridesmaids bouquets, 6 bouts, and one mini bouquet for our flower girl, plus 30 stems of wax flowers and our total was $750ish.

That sounds right to me. I paid $175 for my bouquet, $140 per bridesmaid bouquet, $20 per boutonniere, and $35 per corsage. That didn't include centerpieces or anything else either.

That sounds about right unfortunately. We did bouquets for myself and bridesmaids (DIYd bridesmaids though) but we skipped boutineers and corsages. I asked my husband if he wanted a boutineer and he just looked at me like I was crazy and was like “why do I need to wear a flower...?” Lol. Was fine to skip that 🤷🏻‍♀️

Sounds like a good price. We used a family friend and paid $1700 for my bouquet, 5 bridesmaid bouquets, 7 bouts, 1 fancier one for my fiancé, 1 huge entryway arrangement, an arrangement by the alter, 2 arrangements for each end of the head table and 75 navy roses to add to the white table arrangements our venue provides. Our flowers are all white roses, navy roses and white and blue calli lillies. Real flowers and high quality flowers are expensive, I know we got a great price and it sounds like your did too My inspiration on pintrist Flowers 1

That actually sounds like a good deal and cheaper than any of the 7 florists I met with.

I do have more than you have but I’m 1300+ more in price and we got a huge discount from a friend. My bouquet alone is 200, and that’s pretty standard.
If you’re concerned about price maybe have another shop price it out, it’s hard to really compare when we are taking different areas and different flowers. If you brought your same order somewhere else you’d know if you were getting a good price for what you got.

I don't know the cost for comparison, but a relative got married in the Fingerlake region and got all her florals from her local Wegman's. They were gorgeous, and according to her, much less expensive than any of the traditional florists she talked with. (FWIW we're in SoCal and daughter's bouquet was $150, BM's $35, boutonnieres $15, and corsages $25. Daughter comparison shopped like crazy, and with centerpieces, altar decor, etc., the total, with tax and delivery was around $1700 -- at least $1000 less than her next lowest bid.) Good luck!

That sounds about right. Bridal bouquets are usually $100-$250 and bridesmaids bouquets fall in the $50-$150 range. Our wedding is $125 bridal bouquet, $85 per bridesmaids bouquet, and $12 per boutonniere.
