I can’t decide if I want to go with real or fake flowers. I am going to make the centerpieces and I have a ton of ideas but what’s the cheapest route?!

Usually artificial flowers end up costing less. But if you really want real flowers, look into your local grocery store florist! You could probably order flowers in bulk from there and use those to make your centerpieces Smiley smile

Fake ones usually cost less. You can always do a mix of both to save money if you do want the real ones too

    Hey Melissa!!

It can be difficult deciding what route to go when you are DIYing your own centerpieces. Do you have experience with flower arranging?

I would definitely recommend writing a pros and cons list for each so that you can really consider what would be best for your wedding. What is your venue like?

Are you using a florist for your bouquets?

I personally prefer the look and feel of real flowers. We saved by limiting flowers to just in the bridal party. Our florist quoted us $600 for my bouquet, 4 bridesmaids bouquets, 9 boutonnieres, 3 wrist corsages, and cake flowers. We saved by opting to pick up ourselves as they're on the way to the venue and save $150.

To help save even more we're making flowerless centerpieces with a few small items totaling less than $225 for all 10 of our tables.
