Flowers

Are flowers really a necessity? Is it tacky to not have flowers? I don’t really have the budget for them and don’t see the need for it either except for my bridesmaids and myself to not be always while walking down the aisle.

It's not. I didn't have any. My centerpieces were sand and candles in jars.

Of course not. You can always do fake flowers from a craft store like Michael's where they always have discounts and sales or grocery store flowers though. They're much cheaper. Our grocery, Kroger, has this lady that does good work. I met and talked with her about what I wanted and my budget. A toss bouquet is only $10 lol. Flowers for walking down the aisle are a must for me though.

Nope flowers are not a necessity! You can find beautiful artificial flowers for the ceremony at any craft store. I have even seen pretty ones at Dollar Tree of all places (and am using them for my bouquets!)

I don't think they are necessary. It's all personal preference in my opinion. I'm not a fan of flowers personally so I made my bouquet and the bridesmaid's bouquets with fake flowers that look extremely real with one of my future sisters-in-law. We aren't having any flowers in the reception hall either. We are choosing to decorate with other items.

We had literally no flowers except for bouquets. It wasn’t missed! So many better things to use that money on in my opinion

Flowers are totally optional! It's not tacky to skip them

I don’t think they’re a necessity! A guy I used to work with said that they had vases at the venue and split up everyone’s bouquets into them as decor following the ceremony, which I thought was kind of a fun/inexpensive way to use them during the reception!

I am using faux flowers from Ling’s Moment because we absolutely couldn’t afford a florist.

Nope, not necessary. For the BMs, you could get a real or faux single stem flower that matches one in your bouquet. Or mini lanterns which can cost $5 each.

If its not in your budget I dont think you have to have flowers. You could use your bridesmaids bouquets as center pieces on the tables for the dinner. Tea light candles are a nice and inexpensive touch as well.
