I don't know the first thing about flowers. I'm pretty set on real flowers and no roses within my color scheme (mostly shades of red). Where are the best places to look that are cost effective?

Bloominous has a $500 minimum, but they have a ton of designs and the option to customize. I personally found a florist who works out of her home who was willing to work with my budget.

I'm doing a mix of Costco and Fifty Flowers. Costco is definitely the cheapest but they don't have too much of a variety. Fifty Flowers has just about every flower you can think of. You can do a consultation (free) and they'll ask what you need flowers for and give you a recipe on how much of everything to buy. They'll also find alternative flowers that fit within your budget if one is too pricey. I 100% recommend them. Even of you don't end up using them, the consultation gave me a ton of guidance. Your consultant will also give you a coupon

Check your local grocery store. Kroger is doing my flower centerpieces for cheap. No more than $25 a piece!
