What y’all think about a mix of faux and real flowers?

I did real for the ceremony and fake for the reception. It worked perfectly and looked great.

See I’m planning on having real for reception and fake for ceremony (minus bouquets those will be real)... I wanted all my fake flowers to be for things that wouldn’t be up close like the arch.. and I’m not allowed real petals

I think that’ll work just great! I did the opposite because my line of thinking was there would be a lot more ceremony/bouquet flower pics but most reception pics are of ppl dancing in dark lighting and not the flowers. I was way too overwhelmed to do the arch myself so I had the florist do that. As for the reception centerpieces they were like $100 each times the # of tables so I did them myself. I did have fake aisle markers though. And real cake flowers because they were free to add in.

Smiley smile My bouquet is fake and I'm planning on fresh flowers (probably from Trader Joes) on the table for the reception. These are my sola wood and silk flowers.
