Flowers

Nellie, on February 17, 2021 at 2:35 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 17
I’m freaking out because I still don’t have a florist I have talked to many and they have not gotten back to me yet 😭😭 I want real flowers for my bouquet but I really don’t know of any places selling the flowers I need. I’m thinking that going to LA to find some the day before the wedding will be good like super early in the morning since I have the rehearsal for my ceremony at 4pm.

Have you checked local grocery stores? If they have a florist department, they might be able to provide flowers for your wedding! I wouldn't leave it for the day before - that's going to be very stressful if you don't find anything you like.

Those look like artificial/sola wood flowers. If you Google sola wood bouquets you will get many options such as Michaels, Amazon, Etsy...

Sorry, I saw that you want real flowers...that shade of blue is not found in a natural flower and you would have to get them dyed. There are hundreds of flowers (to include dyed ones) on Fifty flowers.com. They ship within 2 days of event and have consultants who will help advise on what you need.

That's a gorgeous bouquet! Have you heard of FiftyFlowers? I haven't used them but somehow am on their email list - it looks like they're a DIY flower service with real flowers! They could be a resource to look into. https://www.fiftyflowers.com/ is the website.

You are only a month out from your wedding, you really need to get on the phone and follow up with florist you inquired about instead of waiting for emails - or call other shops. I really don't think you'll find what you are looking for at a grocery store florist but it doesn't hurt to check.

If you're in L.A. the flower district has lots to choose from and may even bundle them for you.

    Fiftyflowers.com or Costco.com

I would try Costco. I went the other day when they had their florist vendor there. The vendor is KMS Floral, but they aren't servicing weddings right now on their website, but you can contact the local person and they will set aside the specific flowers you are looking for to make it work!

I haven't seen this mentioned, but Valentine's Day is usually one of the biggest days of the year for florists and takes all hand on deck leading up to and through Feb 14th. So they are probably still playing catch up right now. That's most likely the reason they haven't been able to get back to you. Try going to their physical store to talk to them when you go to get your Dad's tux.

I was in a similar situation. It was hard to find florists who could help. I ended up going with Boomerang Blooms and renting flowers. It was a much more affordable option and they could ship super quickly. Best of luck! boomerangblooms.com
