Flowers for Parents

Jeanette, on October 25, 2017 at 6:45 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 4

Hello All,

So my FH has a lot of family including 4 parents and many sisters, step siblings, and half siblings, etc. I am going over flowers now with my florist and was wondering if anyone would think it is rude that we only give our Mothers corsages for the wedding day and not all the parents and family. We are paying for this wedding ourselves and every single penny counts right now. Thoughts?

Siblings don't typically get corsages or bouts. Personally, I'd get the step parents flowers if you're giving them to the parents.

I was in the same boat and decided to skip it entirely in order to avoid all the women getting their feelings hurt. the only people getting flowers out side of the wedding party is my dad and FH dad.

We are only doing corsages for mothers & grandmothers (we were originally only going to do our moms, but FMIL requested one for grandma, so now we have to do one for all the grandmas..)

But we are skipping the boutonnieres, sorry, men Smiley smile
