Anyone else making their own flower wall? I started mine and let me tell you.... it’s not as easy as I thought it would be 🙄

It's looking really good though!!! 👏

That was so smart to make a pretty background for contrast and save the big flowers as details! 🌺

I wanted a pretty flower backdrop but didn’t wanna drop hundreds on it. So I went on YouTube and this was the cheapest way.

My wedding date is not until next September but I really wanted a flower wall so I made my own it’s about 8ft tall by 7ft wide. I ordered flowers offline and then lightly spray painted some that weren’t quite the color I wanted. My issue now is that it is going to be so heavy I can’t fine a good enough stand to hang it from. I found a few ideas on how to build one from wood but it’s not going to be easy. Flower wall 2

That’s beautiful! What about PVC? I saw some on YouTube made out of PVC that looked very sturdy.

I did see some for PVC stands but it’s so heavy (about 100lbs) that it will bend in the middle.

I would suggest multiple posts between the end pieces of the pvc. That should keep it from bending. Basically instead of just the outside poles put extra in the middle for extra support. There are those T brackets in the pvc area to connect the other poles with. Just a suggestion.

I used plastic flower grids from amazon and bought flower heads which are artificial flowers that come without the stem attached. The plastic grid has various spikes on it that the flower heads just pop on. I did have to uses some glue on some that didn’t want to stay.
