Flower Runners

Hi Guys,

I really love the idea of flower runners, but i'm wondering about the logistics of it. I don't want any fancy designs, just petals down the center of the aisle (see picture below!). I'm worried that the flowers will blow away or get severely messed up by bridesmaids dresses, etc., before I am able to walk down the aisle.

Has anyone done this? What are the pros and cons? I REALLY love the look of it, but I don't want it to be ruined by the time its my turn to walk.

Hi Cali! That's definitely tough - no matter what you do there could be non-cooperative wind on your wedding day!
I'd either go with more loosely scattered petals so they aren't affected as much by the other trips down the aisle, or lay down a really heavy layer of them and have a flower girl drop a bunch of fresh flowers to fill in any gaps right before your processional!
