Flower Girls

I feel like that’s something that can wait a few months ahead of time because they probably won’t need to be altered. At least for me personally I won’t get my nieces until like 2 months before the wedding because they’re easy to find (at least have been for me)

We bought our daughter’s flower girl dress when Easter dresses came out.

To get the most accurate sizing, it seems like 2-3 months before the wedding would be ideal. That way, if the dresses need to be altered, there's enough time, but it's also close enough to the wedding to where the sizing would be more accurate.

Kids grow SO fast that this really is best to leave until close to the date. If you want a true "flower girl" dress from a bridal manufacturer, you can pick out the style and then just check the order date with the store to ensure delivery. But, I agree with pps that, especially for a summer wedding, you'll likely have a lot to choose from at regular retailers following Easter -- and you'll probably find some great sales.

Most holiday dresses (Easter or Christmas) that are sold at Burlington, Dillards, Macy's etc will work fine and be less expensive.

Easter deals and sales are prime time. Even if you have to get 2 sizes to cover/guarantee you have one that fits, it's often a MUCH better selection and price around Easter!

We bought ours a full year in advance, but only because there was a super sale going on at Macy's and they ended up being around 75% off! The two flower girls did need minor alterations before the big day, but still saved a ton of money due to the sale

I'm gonna wait till like 2 months out because my flower girl is gonna be 3 y.o and they grow quickly! Already have the dress saved on Etsy.
