Flower girls/ Ring Bearer

Where to start? To begin with my fiancé & I FIRST agreed that my (age 4) twin nieces would be our flower girls because *How Cute!*, but we have two other nieces (age 3 and 1) who are way more photogenic (they constantly do photo shoots and the 3 year old does the local pageants) and my twin nieces aren’t at all used to dressing up and much less, taking photos. We don’t have any boys that can be our ring bears so we were of ways we can be fair to our nieces and still have them be apart of our special day. Suggestions? Thoughts?

Could always have the smaller kids be flower girls and then the twins hold signs or something.

My first thought is I don’t think how photogenic a kid is should have any bearing on their participation in your wedding at all. I would have all four of them be flower girls but maybe have the younger ones carry ribbon wands or something similar.

I knew that would strike someone’s nerve but they are my nieces and I know they can be a little wild, and even their own parents can tell you that. They are beautiful girls but my point was they aren’t the most well behaved and thats what concerned me.

I was thinking of having my twin nieces be our ring bearers and they could hold the sign since they’re older but I’m not sure about having girls as ring bearers.

Girls can absolutely be ring bearers!! I don't know where the idea came from that it had to be boys doing this job. Really it can be anyone. I think it would be cute to have two little girls as ring bearers.

All four could share the flower girl and ring bearer roles, it doesn't matter the gender. Some could carry signs, bubbles, ribbons, etc. Honestly I think it would be so cute to see a gaggle of little girls coming down the aisle.
