Flower Girl's Dress

I would say this depends. Most of the time in my circle, the parents of the flower girl pay for the dress, but it’s usually something fairly cheap- a department store Easter dress or something off Amazon never more than $40. I think if you’re requesting a more expensive dress than you should offer to pay for it.

I bought the flower girls dress. I personally think it’s only proper to do, however this is a very me thing. Others think differently.

I bought my flower girls dress as a thank you to the parents for allowing her to participate. It really wasn't all that much. To each their own though. If the parents are ok with buying it, I don't see any reason why not.

I didn't have a flower girl, but I absolutely would have purchased her dress (I purchased my BM dresses too).

I've seen it done both ways. I'm not having a flower girl, but my best friend had one in her wedding and the mother of the child bought the dress because the girl was going to be in multiple weddings and the dress was able to be tweaked for each wedding. But if I were having a flower girl, I would probably buy the dress.
